Addon for use on a flying mount?

[:1]Anyone know of any addons made for use when flying?

I'm looking for something to warn me if I'm not flying level or something. Too many times I'm ore gathering in outland and don't notice I'm pitched up on an angle until I start getting higher up or pitched down and getting close to flying into a wall or mountain.

I need something to help me level out really.|||Not that I know of, and I've certainly never heard of anything like that.

But it begs the question - what does it matter? It's not like you can "crash" into anything, or sustain any damage flying into objects. There's no inertia in-game, so you come to an immediate stop as soon as you release a movement button / cancel the auto-run.|||Quote:

Welllllll....... not quite. For some reason, about three out of five times when my husband logs on and flies on one of his characters (any of five that can fly mounted) his mount begins to go head-down. It's gradual at first, then becomes worse and nothing corrects it.

He's talked to GMs (they said they'd heard of such things but had no idea how to correct it) and e-mailed Blizzard, who said the usual 'uninstall your game and reinstall it'. He did that without any change.

So now, when it happens, he logs out, and when he logs back in, it's corrected itself. He's never dared let it go to the seeming conclusion, when mount and rider would crash.|||lol, crash

I'll have a look on Curse. Maybe just a search on 'flying' will bring something up. And I think I'm going to tell him to just let it crash or land or whatever. I'm curious to see what happens.|||Quote:

His mount will continue to "flap" or whatever flying animation the mount has. That's about it. There is almost nothing bad that can happen as regards mounts and the world environment. Mobs and of course dismounting can all have undesired effects but simple running into things will cause you no problems at all.|||Though I did come up with on enon UI related mount trick.
