How does focus work with macro for Tricks of the Trade?

During lunch a couple weeks ago, I googled and found this macro for Tricks of the Trade on WoW forums (http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread....86761586&sid=1) and I could not get that to work at all.

I set the tank to focus by right clicking his portrait then selecting focus. that put another portrait of him underneath the 5-party. Then I tried clicking on the macro I had set up in #1 spot, nothing. Next I tried clicking the focus, nothing.

So evidently I need some major help here if anybody canfigure out what I'm doing wrong? I have not done anything before this with focus so I do not understand how this works.|||Quote:

There are multiple macros shown on the page you linked to. Can you type out here for us the exact macro you're using? Thanks!|||Thanks for replying! Here it is. I've since found a couple people who recommended not doing the (target=focus) and just type in the tank's name each time.

Also - the rogues could cast it on each other to cancel out the threat or so I've heard.

#showtooltip Tricks of the Trade

/cast (target=focus) Tricks of the Trade
