In-Game Web Browsing!!! Working!!!

Ok, so I have found a way to make In-Game Web Browsing work!!! Honestly, I don't use an add-on to do it, but I am posting it here because it is kind of a UI customization.

It's pretty simple, all you need to do it run WoW through Steam; a FREE to download and use gaming platform/store/community application. You can get it at:

http://store.steampowered.com/

Once its installed, you need to sign up for an account, also completely FREE.

Once you log into your account on Steam, go to your Games tab, and click "Add non-steam game...", select World of Warcraft from the list or programs, and click "Add Selected Programs".

All you do now is to play WoW, open steam and double click the link in the Games tab. When you are in-game, you can press Shift+Tab to access the Steam interface, and click the Web button to open a page.

There is only one bug with this browser, but there is a work around. If you google search for a site that uses Flash Player, it wont work. So you have to close the browser, reopen it, and type the address into the address bar. a bit annoying but this does work.

Peace and Enjoy!|||In before nuked link|||You can do this with Xfire too. Its not in-game browsing though really is it? Its just an overlay created by Steam/Xfire.|||I find running 2 lovely 24" screens works as well ;)

(and how is the steam way any different from alt tabbing?)|||you could also try a program called Rogue.|||Or this addon: http://wowui.incgamers.com/?p=mod&m=6968|||I avoid steam like the plague. Run wow in a maximised window and just alt-tab.
